Hello, my name is Val. I've been playing chess since 12 and since then it became my passion.. I kept playing on chess.com and upon arriving to the US became the winner of National Open U1700 and World Open U1800, both in 2021. I read a lot of chess books involving classics like Bobby Fischer. Tigran Petrosian and others. Since I really enjoy teaching and chess, I'd like to pursue a career with a combination of both.
About the tutor
I have around 6 years of in-person and online teaching. After a month of training, my students improved their chess skills leading to much higher results in international tournaments.
Students of all ages and levels are welcome to book a trial lesson with me. Based on the analysis of your games, I'll help you identify your weak points and recommend ways to improve them.
